About the artwork: This piece was part of my project for DesignTO 2025. "Iluminación" reflects on the quiet retreat of light during the winter months. In these dimmed seasons, we as humans often feel a sense of confinement—yearning, instinctively, to surround ourselves with warmth, radiance, and any form of illumination. This piece captures that longing, the embrace of light not just as a source of brightness, but as a form of emotional refuge.
