About this piece: Motherhood didn't slow me down, it taught me to create space for what truly matters. While my free time is not what it used to be, and sometimes I wish I had more of it, motherhood has also taught me to appreciate the quiet moments that happen around me.
The slower mornings, the little hands reaching for mine, the feeling of being needed and loved so deeply.
I love this, and so many other parts of motherhood. The way it teaches us to protect our energy and appreciate what truly matters.
