About this piece: For this artwork, I thought about protection. Lately, I’ve been exploring the movement of hands and how a gesture can express care. These hands hold the love and protection I give to everything I’ve built as a person and as a mother.
The flowers represent what has bloomed in my life—what I choose to nurture and hold close. As I care for those things with love, I find myself growing alongside them.
