About this piece: From Us, They Bloom is a reflection on how life begins within us—like a seed I carry, nurture, and slowly watch unfold.
Through this piece, I explore the tenderness and responsibility of motherhood. How we hold, guide, and care for something that is both a part of us and becoming its own. The figures are connected through gesture and form, representing that invisible thread I feel between myself and my child—where love, memory, and life are quietly passed on.
The small plant becomes a symbol of that growth—of what I choose to water, protect, and trust will bloom beyond me.
